Summer Craig Summer Passport Contest
Summer Craig is coming.
Summer Craig is what we all look forward to in life. It’s not only a yearly reawakening, but also a state of mind. An ethos. The nectar that is life. Summer Craig is everyone that gets a chance to let loose, even if only for a night. Summer Craig is both the best and the worst of you.
With that in mind, the Illinois Craft Brewers’ Guild has decided to help Summer Craig track his debauchery and chicanery and we’re making it a contest. All you need to do is guess:
How many breweries in Illinois will Summer Craig visit and get a stamp in the #DrinkIllinois Summer Passport? Also (tiebreaker question), how many non-Illinois breweries will Summer Craig visit?
So how do you enter? (and other rules and regulations)
- Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter
- Look for a post on each of those platforms asking the question and reply with your answer. So, yes, you can enter up to three times.
- We’ll close the entry portion of the contest at 11:59 PM on June 21, 2019 (the OFFICIAL start to Summer Craig and, you know, summer itself).
- Stamps may be collected until August 10, 2019, so that’s when our contest will end. Winner(s) will be announced no later than August 19, 2019.
- The #DrinkIllinois Summer Passport has 132 spaces for stamps, so don’t guess higher than that, unless you want to follow #HospitalStayCraig.
- Prizes will include ABV Chicago swag (t-shirt and glassware definitely), some Beer on the Wall swag (thanks Ryan Tracy!), and beer, mostly from Summer Craig’s adventures. Depending on the number of entries, we will have up to 3 winners.
- Contest is open to anyone in the United States; however, if you’re not somewhat local to Chicago, we’d ask for a label to ship everything.
